Gray Wool Button-Front Sweater Vest
I thrifted this one and the buttons are what got me. They’re big, shiny, gold metal buttons running down the front, and they turn a simple gray vest into something that looks a lot more expensive. I can’t tell you the brand, but it doesn’t need a label to look this good.
It’s a soft, fuzzy heathered gray wool with a round neckline, and it’s sleeveless, so it’s easy to layer. It’s lightweight but still gives you some warmth. It’s giving old-money prep with a little bit of cool-girl attitude.
I’d wear it over a crisp white button-up with trousers for an office look, or over a long-sleeve tee with jeans and loafers when I want something more casual. You could also leave it open over a slip dress and boots. The gold buttons look great with pretty much any gold jewelry.
