Every closet needs a black dress that doesn’t feel boring, and this Zara one nails it. It’s a long sleeve shift with a notched V-neck, and the little studs along the collar and pockets are what keep it from being just another black dress. It’s subtle, but you notice it.
The fabric is soft with some structure to it, so it skims your body instead of clinging. The shift cut keeps things easy and polished, and the studs add just enough attitude. It’s giving “I have a meeting at 2 and drinks at 7.”
It’s in great shape. No flaws that I could find, and it looks like it barely got worn before it landed in my hands.
For work, I’d keep it simple with tights and loafers or ankle boots. For a night out, swap in tall boots and a bold earring, and the studs do the rest. It also looks great under a big cozy jacket if the weather turns.
